  • The film was based on Anand Gandhi's Gujarati play "Beta Kaagdo". Gandhi was also a co-writer of the film's story and screenplay.[1]

  • Chand Lamhe - Pakistani advertising executive, writer, and poet Asma Nabeel debuted as a lyricist in this film. It was her only Hindi film song. She died in 2021 after battling with cancer for 7 years.
  • Ruk Ruk Ruk - This was a cover version of a hit song from the film "Vijaypath" (1994). The film's producer Ajay Devgn played a lead role in "Vijaypath" (1994). The original song was sung by Alisha Chinai.[2]
