Trivia

    Album

  • This was director A.R. Murugadoss's remake of his own hit Tamil film "Thuppakki" (2012) starring Vijay.
  • Pooja Bhatt crossed swords with Akshay Kumar over this film. She had registered the film's title with the Association of Motion Picture and TV Programme Producers (AMPTPP) and refused to part with it when producer Vipul Shah asked for it. Shah eventually got around it by registering the title with a tagline. A miffed Pooja Bhatta posted on Twitter, "Akshay Kumar's producers have an affinity for the titles of my films.Gentle Reminder- 'Karma can be a bitch'!". She had previously taken the makers of the film "Thank You" (2011) to court claiming copyright over its title.[1][2]
