Album

• This was actress Jiah Khan's last film. She committed suicide in 2013.[1]
• P.L. Thenappan, the producer of the Tamil film "Kaathala Kaathala" (1998), had alleged that this film was plagiarised from his film. Producer Sajid Nadiadwala had denied this allegation.[2]
• This was the first film in producer Sajid Nadiadwala's "Housefull" comedy franchise. While the films in the series had unconnected plots, all of them had large ensemble casts with two lead actors in common - Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh.[3][4][5]

Song

• Aapka Kya Hoga (Dhanno) - This was a cover of a song composed by Kalyanji - Anandji for the film "Laawaris" (1981). Punit and Amit, the sons of Prakash Mehra, the producer and director of "Laawaris" and the lyricist of this song, had filed a case against producer Sajid Nadiadwala alleging copyright infringement. The Calcutta High court had ruled in their favour and asked for the song to be removed from the film.[6][7]
