Trivia

    Album

  • This film was a remake of the Kannada film "Paduvaaralli Pandavaru" (1978), written and directed by Puttanna Kanagal. Puttanna Kanagal's story for the Kannada film was inspired by the Mahabharata. The director of this film, Bapu, had previously remade the same Kannada film in Telugu as "Mana Voori Pandavulu" (1978).
  • Producer Surinder Kapoor's sons, who made a name for themselves independently in the years to come, were part of this film's crew. Boney Kapoor was the film's executive producer, and Anil Kapoor was credited as "Casting director and Outdoor in charge". Anil Kapoor also had an uncredited cameo appearance in the film.
  • Before debuting as a singer in "Ek Duje Ke Liye" (1981), S.P. Balasubramaniam debuted in Hindi films with the background score for this film.[1]
