Trivia

    Album

  • This was Vinod Khanna's comeback film after returning to India from Rajneesh's ashram in Oregon, USA. He was billed as "Re-introducing Vinod Khanna" in the film's opening credits.
  • Vinod Khanna had a change of heart half-way through the making of this film. He wanted to return to Rajneesh's ashram and requested director Mukul S. Anand to replace him with someone else. He changed his mind again a month later and decided to complete the film. When the film was done, the actor asked producer Nitin Manmohan to deduct the cost of the delay caused by him from his fees.[1]
  • This film was remade in Tamil as "Chinnappadass" (1989).

    Song

  • Main Hoon Tu Hai - This song was adapted from Beethoven's "Fur Elise".[2]
