Trivia

    Album

  • This was the debut film of producer Boney Kapoor's son, Arjun Kapoor. It was also Parineeti Chopra's first film in a lead role. She had debuted earlier in a supporting role in the film "Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl" (2011).[1]

    Song

  • Ishaqzaade - Lyricist Kausar Munir accidentally coined the title of the film while writing the lyrics for this song. She landed on the song's title after playing around with variants like "shehzaade" and "nawabzaade". The film's director Habib Faisal liked the word so much that he decided to use it as the film's title.[2]
  • Main Pareshan - This was singer Shalmali Kholgade's debut Hindi film song. It turned her into an overnight sensation and won her several awards, including the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer.
