Trivia

    Album

  • This was South Indian actress and later-day Tamil Nadu politician Jayalalitha's first and only Hindi film in a lead role. Prior to this, she had made a cameo appearance in "Manmauji" (1962).[1]
  • This was the first film in which Laxmikant - Pyarelal worked with Sahir Ludhianvi.
  • Dulal Guha wrote the story of this film in lieu of the signing amount he had accepted from producer R.C. Kumar for a shelved film titled "Bin Maange Moti". Starring Dharmendra and Meena Kumari, "Bin Maange Moti" had to be shelved when its story was found to be adapted from two films - "Dil Ek Mandir" (1963) and "Phool Aur Patthar" (1966).[2][3][4]

    Song

  • Kya Miliye Aise Logon Se - Sumit Mitra played the prominent accordion solos in this song.
