- This was the debut Hindi film of the Tamil film actor Raghuvaran.
- This was producer Sudhakar Bokade's first film.
- Producer Sudhakar Bokade teamed up with Dilip Kumar after this film for "Kalinga". If it had released, "Kalinga" would have been Dilip Kumar's first film as a director. The film was delayed first due to Kumar's health issues and later because of the Bombay riots of 1992-1993. Eventually, the film was shelved due to creative differences between Bokade and Dilip Kumar. Bokade and Kumar never worked together again.[1][2]
