    Album

  • This was Shekhar Kapur's first film in a leading role. The film was produced by his uncle Vijay Anand, the brother of Kapur's mother, Sheela Kanta Kapur. Kapur had debuted earlier in "Ishk Ishk Ishk" (1974), produced by another of his uncles, Dev Anand. The other two leads in the film, Prem Krishan and Nitaasha, were debutants as well.[1]
  • This was the first film in which Shaily Shailendra did not share credit with other lyricists. He had debuted earlier in the film "Mera Naam Joker" (1970), in which he had shared credit with his father Shailendra, and other lyricists.[2]
