Trivia

    Album

  • This film was promoted as the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the Navketan banner. It marked the return of Chetan Anand, who directed the film, to the Navketan banner after two decades. He had parted ways with Navketan after developing differences with Dev Anand during the making of "Funtoosh" (1956). The brothers also collaborated in "Sahib Bahadur" (1976) which was produced by Chetan Anand's banner Himayala Films.[1][2][MR52]
  • This Navketan film was an adaptation of another successful film produced by the banner - "Taxi Driver" (1954). Dev Anand's wife Kalpana Kartik was credited as the film's Associate Producer. Interestingly, Kalpana Kartik and Dev Anand, who were co-stars in "Taxi Driver" (1954), had gotten married while on a break from the film's shooting.[3]
  • This was the only Navketan film for which Laxmikant - Pyarelal composed music.

    Song

  • Aayegi Aayegi Aayegi Kisi Ko Hamari Yaad Aayegi - II - This version of the song was part of the film but was not included in the audio release.
