Ismat Chugtai and her husband Shahid Lateef were jointly credited as the film's directors. It appears that Lateef passed away during the film's making and Chugtai, who wrote its screenplay and dialogues, stepped in and completed it.
The film had a title music track and two songs but did not have a music release. Each of the two songs in the film featured two uncredited voices.
Song
Title Music - Salil Chowdhury used a slightly different version of this theme music for the opening credits of the Malayalam film "Ezhu Rathrikal" (1968). He developed this tune further to compose the Hindi film song "Humrahi Manzil Ke Aao Chalen" ("Anokha Daan", 1972).[1]
