Trivia

    Album

  • This was the last Hindi film of the legendary director Hrishikesh Mukherjee. It came a decade after his previous Hindi film "Naa-Mumkin" (1988).
  • This was the acting debut of Sajid Khan, the brother of choreographer, director Farah Khan.
  • After "Golmaal" (1979) and "Naram Garam" (1981), Hrishikesh Mukherjee had wanted to make a third film in what would have been a trilogy of comedies with Amol Palekar and Utpal Dutt. He couldn't make that film but years later, on Polygram's insistence, he made this film with a different cast.[1]

    Song

  • Jhooth Bole Kauwa Kaate - Dancer and choreographer Shiamak Davar not only sang this song but appeared on screen for it.
