Trivia

    Album

  • The premise of this film appears to have been inspired by the American romantic comedy "Here Comes Mr. Jordan" (1941) which in turn was adapted from the play "Heaven Can Wait" (1938) written by the American playwright Harry Segall. The play was also adapted for other films, including "Heaven Can Wait" (1978) and "Down to Earth" (2001). The Hindi film "Fatso" (2012) also had a similar premise.[1]
  • This was among the earliest films to feature end credits. While the film's crew was listed in the opening credits, its cast was listed in the end credits.

    Song

  • Kaun Hai Jo Sapnon Mein Aaya (O Priya) - This song was an adaptation of Elvis Presley's "Marguerita" recorded for his musical comedy "Fun In Acapulco" (1962)[2]
  • Mere Tumhare Beech Mein - Manohari Singh played the saxophone in this song.[3]
  • Kisi Par Jaan Dete Hain Kisi Ki Jaan Lete Hain - The trumpet solo in the opening of this song was sampled by the Black Eyed Peas for the opening of their song "My Humps" (2005).[4]
