    Album

  • This film launched Mithun Chakraborty's son, Mimoh Chakraborty.
  • The title of this film was the name of Mithun Chakraborty's character in one of his most successful films, "Disco Dancer" (1982).[1]
  • This film's premise may have been inspired by the Hindi film "Majboor" (1974). "Majboor" (1974) itself may have been inspired by the American thriller film "Zig Zag" (1970) and was remade in various languages - in Telugu as "Raaja" (1976), in Tamil as "Naan Vazhavaippen" (1979), in Gujarati as "Naseeb No Khel" (1982) and in Malayalam as "Ee Kaikalil" (1986).[2]
