  • This film was a remake of the Marathi film "Ekta Jeev Sadashiv" (1972) starring and produced by Dada Kondke. The Kannada film "Bangaarada Panjara" (1974) also had a similar plot.
  • This was lyricist Praveen Bharadwaj's debut Hindi film.

  • Usne Bola Kem Chhe (Prem Chhe) - This song wasn't composed for this film. Anand Raj Anand already had this tune and director Mahesh Manjrekar liked it so much that he created a situation for this song in the film.[1]
