Trivia

    Album

  • Rishi Kapoor featured in another film with the same title four decades after the release of this film.[1]
  • The romantic subplot in this film, involving Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh's characters, was originally used in the British musical comedy "Happy Go Lovely" (1951). The Hindi films "Sajan" (1969), "Pasand Apni Apni" (1983) and "Ghajini" (2008), and the Malayalam film "Aram + Aram = Kinnaram" (1985) also used similar plotlines.[2][3][4]

    Song

  • Jeevan Ke Har Mod Pe Mil Jayenge Humsafar - This song was an adaptation of the song "Verao Vermelho" (1977) by the American rock back Santana fronted by the lead guitarist Carlos Santana. Sanatana's version of "Verao Vermelho" was a homage to the Brazilian singer Elis Regina, who originally recorded the song in 1970.[5]
  • Jeevan Ke Har Mod Pe Mil Jayenge Humsafar - R.D. Burman had used the tune of this song earlier for the Bengali non-film song "Shono Mon Boli Tomay" (1977). He had sung the Bengali version himself.[6]
