Trivia

    Album

  • The plot of this film was adapted from the spaghetti Western "For a Few Dollars More" (1965) starring Clint Eastwood and directed by Sergio Leone.
  • This film was launched in 1985 with Shekhar Kapur at the helm. However, the film was delayed and Kapur left the film midway after developing differences with producer Sibte Hassan Rizvi. Rizvi then completed the film and did not give Kapur credit for it.[1]
  • Impressed by Shekhar Kapur's work in "Masoom" (1983), Javed Akhtar was so eager to work with him that he agreed to work in this film for much lower than his usual fee.[2][3]
