Trivia

    Album

  • This film was an adaptation of director Ridley Scott's romantic thriller "Someone to Watch Over Me" (1987). The film "Haar Jeet" (1989) was also based on the same film.[1]
  • The film's audio records were issued in 1989 but the film was delayed and it came out only in 1990.

    Song

  • Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaaye - This song was based on the American folk song "500 Miles" written by Hedy West in 1961 and covered by many musicians over the years including The Journeymen, Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs, Peter, Paul and Mary, Elvis Presley and Joan Baez. The song was also covered by Justin Timberlake, Carey Mulligan and Stark Sands for the soundtrack of the film "Inside Llewyn Davis" (2013).[2][3][4]
  • Marne Ke Dar Se Mere Dil Jeena Na Tu Chhod Dena - The opening line of this song appears to be an adaptation of Madonna's "La Isla Bonita" (1986).[5]
