- This film was inspired by Quentin Tarantino's cult classic "Reservoir Dogs" (1992).
- This was Sanjay Gupta's first film as a producer. It was also the first film of the production house White Feather Films started by Sanjay Gupta and Sanjay Dutt.

- Ishq Samandar Dil De Andar - Himesh Reshammiya recorded a cover version of this song for the film "Tera Surroor" (2016).[1]
- Maahi Ve - This song was based on the song "Ma Yihye" by the Israeli singer Zehava Ben. It was later recreated by Gourov - Roshin for the film "Wajah Tum Ho" (2016).[2][3]
- Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re - This song may have been inspired by Nadeem - Shravan's "Koi Na Koi Chahiye" ("Deewana", 1992). The Nadeem - Shravan song itself was based on "Bird Boy" by Nana Vasconcelos & The Bushdancers.[4][5]
- Jaane Kya Hoga Rama Re - The tune of this song went on to be used for the theme music for the logo of Sanjay Gupta's White Feather Films. "Shootout At Lokhandwala" (2007) was the first film by the banner to use this theme music.[6]
