Trivia

    Album

  • The tagline of this film - "They are back" - was a reference to the fact that it brought together many cast and crew members of the hit film "Main Khiladi Tu Anari" (1994). Both the films were produced under the Venus banner, directed by Sameer Malkan, written by Sachin Bhowmick and featured actors Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan, Shakti Kapoor, Johnny Lever and Raveena Tandon.[1]
  • Akshay Kumar rated a bike stunt he performed in this film as the most memorable stunt he had ever performed on a motorcycle.[2]

    Song

  • De Diya Dil Piya - Actor Ranveer Singh, who was about thirteen years old at the time, had visited the sets of this film when this song was being shot on Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon. He had stared so hard at Raveena Tandon that she had felt uncomfortable and asked security to escort Ranveer out of the set. Perhaps sensing his disappointment, Akshay Kumar complimented Ranveer on his Mohawk haircut as he left the set.[3]
  • Koi Nahin Tere Jaisa - This song was plagiarised from Rednex's hit song "Cotton Eye Joe" (1994). "Cotton Eye Joe" itself was a version of a traditional American country folk song.[4]
