Trivia

    Album

  • The theme music of the film's opening credits was plagiarised from the opening theme of the American TV series "Dallas" (1978 - 1991).
  • Anil Kapoor's opening scene in this film, involving a jewelry shop heist, was based on the same real-life incident that inspired the film "Special 26" (2013) starring Akshay Kumar.[1][2]

    Song

  • Idlee Doo Idlee Doo (Tum Mujhko Chand Laa Ke Do) - This song was based on Cab Calloway's jazz song "Minnie The Moocher", which was first recorded in 1931. The original became a rage for its scatting and was very popular in live performances.[3][4]
  • Naa Hai Zameen Na Aasmaan - The tune of this song was inspired by the debut single of the pop band Linear, "Sending All My Love" (1990). Another Hindi film song was based on the same tune - "Neend Churayee Meri" ("Ishq", 1997).[5][6]
  • Zindagi Ke Khel Mein - The tune of the mukhda of this song was inspired by the track "Pulstar" by Vangelis from his album "Albedo 0.39" (1976). "Pulstar" was also adapted by R.D. Burman for the song "Maine Dil Liya" ("Zameen Aasman", 1984).[7][8]
