Trivia

    Album

  • This was director Dibakar Banerjee's first film.
  • This film was remade in Tamil as "Poi Solla Porom" (2008).
  • In 2015, director Dibakar Banerjee had announced that he would be returning the National Award for the Best Feature Film in Hindi for this film to protest against the "growing intolerance" in the country. One of the film's producers, Savita Raj Hiremath, had strongly objected to this statement by Dibakar. According to her, this was a joint award and not Dibakar's to return.[1]
  • This was the debut film of music director Dhruv Dhalla.
