Trivia

    Album

  • This film was Sudhir Mishra's tribute to the Hindi film industry of the 1950s.[1]
  • Vidya Balan was replaced by Soha Ali Khan since she had concerns about some intimate scenes in the film.[2]
  • This film was initially titled "Bahut Nikle Mere Armaan". The title of Sudhir Mishra's previous film was "Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi", a phrase from the first line of a ghazal by Mirza Ghalib. "Bahut Nikle Mere Armaan" happened to be a phrase from the next line of the same ghazal. Later, Sudhir Mishra realized that people might mistake this film to be a sequel of "Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi" (2005) and changed its title.[3][MR12]
