Trivia

    Album

  • This was the first film signed by actress Preity Zinta. However, it was in the making for a few years and she ended up debuting in "Dil Se" (1998).[1]
  • Actor Chandrachur Singh and the film's producer, Ramesh Taurani, had a falling out during the making of this film. Taurani wanted to bring in Salman Khan to replace Chandrachur Singh but Khan ended up acting as a mediator and helped resolve their differences. Chandrachur Singh then went on to complete his work in the film.[2]

    Song

  • Ae Dil Laaya Hai Bahaar (Kya Kehna) - 1 - This song was plagiarised from Neil Sedaka's hit song "Oh! Carol" (1958).[3]
