Trivia

    Album

  • This film was considered ahead of its time for its depiction of a romantic relationship between an older man and a young woman.
  • This was the first film in which Anil Kapoor appeared without a moustache.
  • Sridevi had received the news of her father's death when this film was being shot in England and had to leave for India. Since Yash Chopra wanted to complete the England sequences in the film before winter, he decided to wait on location until she returned. He was very impressed by Sridevi's professionalism when she returned to England in 16 days and proceeded to shoot a comic scene.[1]

    Song

  • Kabhi Main Kahoon - Shiv - Hari developed the tune of this song from a background music piece they had composed for the film "Chandni" (1989).[2]
  • Freak Out (Parody) - Waheeda Rahman reprised her dance for the classic film song "Aaj Phir Jeene Ki Tamanna Hai" ("Guide", 1965) in this parody song.[3]
