  • With a runtime of 4 hours 15 minutes, this was one of the longest ever Hindi films.
  • This film was based on the 1999 Kargil war.
  • This was the first film in which Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor worked together. However, it was only during the making of the film "Tashan" (2008) that they fell in love with each other. They got married in 2012.[1]
  • This was the second of J.P. Dutta's trilogy of war films. The other films in the trilogy were "Border" (1997) and "Paltan" (2018).[2][3][4]
