Trivia

    Album

  • This was K. Asif's last released film. The director had launched this film in 1963 with Guru Dutt and Nimmi. When Guru Dutt died in 1964, the film was shelved. It was revived again in 1970 with Sanjeev Kumar replacing Guru Dutt. The film was still in production in 1971 when K. Asif died. It was eventually released by K. Asif's widow Akhtar Asif in 1986 with K.C. Bokadia's assistance. The film's actors dubbed their dialogues years after they had shot their scenes.
  • This film featured actor Jayant and his sons Amjad Khan and Imtiaz Khan. While Jayant and Amjad Khan acted in the film, Imtiaz Khan dubbed for his father.
  • The film's opening credits listed Mukesh as a playback singer but there were no songs in it that were sung by him.
