Trivia

    Album

  • Completed in 1973, the audio records of this film were issued in 1974, and it was certified in 1975. However, its release was stalled and it got a theatrical release 40 years later in 2013. This was the third film in the Joy Mukherjee trilogy that started with "Love In Simla" (1960) and was followed by "Love In Tokyo" (1966). Mired with problems and put in cold storage, the film was restored and released through the efforts of Joy Mukherjee's family.[1][2][3]
  • Majrooh Sultanpuri collaborated with Shankar - Jaikishan for the first time in his career for two film albums released in 1974 - this film and "Neelma" (1974).[4]
