Trivia

    Album

  • The film was initially titled "Main Hoon Rajinikanth". It was certified in 2014 with the same title. The filmmakers announced it as a tribute to the Tamil film superstar Rajinikanth. Rajinikanth himself did not take it as one. He went to the Madras High Court and sought a stay on the film's release claiming that it might mislead his fans into believing that he had endorsed it. In the petition, he objected to his name being associated with a film whose content he did not approve of. The petition stated that the film would damage his reputation. Director Faisal Saif announced that he would contest the petition legally and offered to screen the film for Rajinikanth. Eventually, however, the court ruled in Rajinikanth's favour. Faisal Saif released the film in 2015 with a different title.[1][2][3][4]
  • This was the debut Hindi film of South Indian film actor Adithya Menon and the Marathi film actress Smita Gondkar.

    Song

  • Kamliyaan (Tribute To Legends) - This was a medley of adaptations of various Sufi songs.
  • Saathiya Aaj Mujhe Neend Nahin Aayegi - The hook line of this song was based on the mukhda of the song "Saqiya Aaj Mujhe Neend Nahin Aayegi" ("Sahib Bibi Aur Ghulam", 1962). It also included a line from another song composed by Bappi Lahiri - "Mujhe Naulakha Manga De Re" ("Sharaab", 1984).[5][6]
