• Shekhar Suman wasn't keen on doing this film since director Sudarshan Rattan told him that he couldn't pay him much and that the film's heroine was a relative unknown - Madhuri Dixit. However, when the director took him to meet Madhuri, Shekhar Suman was floored by her beauty and readily agree to work in the film.[1]
• This was director Sudarshan Rattan's debut film. Unfortunately, the film didn't give a proper release. Rattan couldn't get Madhuri Dixit to dub for the film despite reaching out to her many times. He suspected that Subhash Ghai, who wanted to launch Madhuri in his film, had a hand in this. Rattan eventually got Madhuri's dialogues dubbed by a voice artist and sold the film to Zee TV.[2]
