Trivia

    Album

  • The sarod in the title music of this film was performed by Zarin Daruwala. She was just 14 years old at the time.[1]

    Song

  • Nani Teri Morni Ko Mor Le Gaye - Hemant Kumar was initially signed up to compose the music for this film and had even composed this song for it. However, the recording of this song and the composition of the remaining songs in the film were handed over to Robin Bannerjee when Hemant Kumar became unavailable due to an overseas trip. The song, sung by Hemant Kumar's daughter Ranu Mukherjee, became a big hit.[MR1]
  • Tu Prem Nagar Ka Saadhu - This song parodied a few Hindi films songs, including "Sab Kuchh Seekha Humne Na Seekhi Hoshiyari" ("Anari", 1959) and "Oonchi Oonchi Duniya Ki Deewaren" ("Nagin", 1954).[2][3]
