Trivia

    Album

  • This adult comedy was initially scheduled to be released in May 2015. However, its certification was held up by the Censor Board for several months. The Board refused to certify it due to its sexual content. The film was then sent to the Revising Committee and later to the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal. It finally got an 'A' certificate with a few cuts in August 2015. The film was released in January 2016.[1][2]
  • Complaints were filed against the film over its sexual content. A Hindu group filed a complaint against the makers of the film for depicting the use of condoms inside a temple. Additionally, an Armyman filed a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission and the Censor Board seeking a ban on the film. He charged the film with insulting wives and mothers of Indian Armymen.[3][4]
  • Veteran comedian Asrani said that he felt embarrassed working in this film since he had to deliver lines with double entendres for the first time in his career.[5]
