Trivia

    Album

  • The film's premise was inspired by the Hollywood romantic comedy "Come September" (1961). Like the original, its story involved a rich man taking a vacation to visit his bungalow in a tourist town to find out that his manager has converted the bungalow into a hotel and is renting it out to a group of girls. The film "Kashmir Ki Kali" (1964) also had the same premise.[1]

    Song

  • Yeh Hai Reshmi Zulfon Ka Andhera Na Ghabraiye - The saxophone solo in the second interlude of this song was played by Manohari Singh. O.P. Nayyar reused the tune of this solo in the saxophone solo of the song "Huzoorewala Jo Ho Ijazat Toh" ("Yeh Raat Phir Na Aaygi", 1966).[2][3]
  • Yeh Ab Aap Sochiye (Humne To Dil Ko Aap Ke) - This song was part of the film's music records but was not used in the film.
  • Pukarta Chala Hoon Main - Portions of this song were inspired by Bobby Darin's theme music for the Hollywood film "Come September" (1961). This theme was used in many other Hindi films - for the songs "Aaja Mere Humzuban Main Dhoondhoon Yahan Tu Hai Kahan" ("Rocket Tarzan", 1963), "Pyar Ki Aag Mein Tan Badan Jal Gaya" ("Ziddi", 1964), "Nazrein Mili Dil Dhadka" ("Raja", 1995) and "Dole Dole Dil Dole" ("Baazi", 1995) and in the background score of several films including "Kahin Pyar Na Ho Jaye" (1963), "Woh Kaun Thi" (1964) and "Hamraaz" (1967).[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][MR3]
