Trivia

    Album

  • This was one of the few films in which Salil Chowdhury was not only credited as a music director but also as a writer. He wrote its story and screenplay.
  • This was the Hindi film debut of Antara Chowdhury, the daughter of Salil and Sabita Chowdhury.

    Song

  • Dheere Dheere Haule Se - Salil Chowdhury also used the tune of this song for the Bengali film song "Biswapita Tumi He Prabhu" ("Sister", 1977), sung by Sabita Chowdhury. The tune may have been inspired by a Malayalam Christian devotional song.[1]
  • Kaali Re Kaali Re Tu To Kaali Kaali Hai - Salil Chowdhury had used the tune of this song previously for the Kannada film song "O Udala Sadala" ("Onde Roopa Eradu Guna", 1975), sung by S. Janaki and Mohan, and for the Bengali non-film song "O Sajna Sajna" (1975), sung by Sabita Chowdhury.[2][3]
  • Teri Galiyon Mein Hum Aaye - Salil Chowdhury had used the tune of this song earlier for the Malayalam film song "Ivide Kattinu Sugandham" ("Raagam", 1975) sung by Yesudas and S. Janaki.[4][5]
