Trivia

    Album

  • The film opened with a male voice reciting a couplet - "Ban ke jiski hifazat hawa kare / Woh shama kya bujhe jise roshan khuda kare". This was followed by the text of the following acknowledgement - "We gratefully acknowledge the honourary services rendered by the students of Mohindra College Patiala in Bhangra feats in this picture. For this our thanks are also due to the authorities of the college.".
  • The film was adapted from a romantic tragedy from Punjabi folklore.
  • This was perhaps the only Hindi film in which music director Sardul Kwatra was also credited as the producer.

    Song

  • Chhod Ke Teri Duniya Le Hum Ja Rahe Hain - The song, which was otherwise a Mohammed Rafi solo, featured a line sung by an uncredited female singer, possibly Mubarak Begum.
