Trivia

    Album

  • This was the directorial debut of actress Seema Kapoor. The film featured her ex-husband Om Puri and her brother Annu Kapoor. The film was dedicated to Om Puri who passed away before the film's release. Seema and Om Puri had known each other for about a decade when they got married in 1991. Their marriage lasted less than a year - the couple separated when Puri got involved with writer Nandita Puri and later married her. Om and Nandita got divorced in 2013 but not before a public spat after Nandita published certain details about his life in his biography "Unlikely Hero: The Story of Om Puri" (2009) without his consent. It appeared that Om and Seema had reconciled in the last years of his life.[1][2]

    Song

  • Mann Mera Ram Hi Ram Rate - Bhajan singer Anup Jalota produced the film, sang this song, and made a cameo appearance as himself for it.
