Trivia

    Album

  • This was the second film in Vishesh Films' "Murder" series. The other two films were released in 2004 and 2013. The first two films had Emraan Hashmi in the lead role and the third film had Randeep Hooda. All three films featured songs written by lyricist Sayeed Quadri.[1][2]
  • The plot of this film was reported to have been inspired by the South Korean thriller "The Chaser" (2008). Its poster was said to be plagiarised from another South Korean film - "Bad Guy" (2001).[3]

    Song

  • Aa Zara Kareeb Se - Yana Gupta made a cameo appearance in the film for this song. However, the version of the song shown on television to promote the film did not feature her. For the television promos, the song was shot on the film's lead actors, Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez. This was done due to the objections raised by the Censor Board.[4]
  • Phir Mohabbat Karne Chala Hai Tu - Arijit Singh made his Hindi film debut with this song. He had earlier provided vocals for the song "Aaja Nachle" in the Hindi-dubbed version of "High School Musical 2" (2007) with music by Shankar - Ehsaan - Loy.
