Trivia

    Album

  • This was a prequel to the film "Baby" (2015). It told the origin story of the character played by Taapsee Pannu in "Baby" (2015). Akshay Kumar, who played the protagonist in the 2015 film, had an extended cameo in this film.[1]
  • The film was dubbed and released in Tamil as "Naanthaan Shabana" and in Telugu as "Nene Shabana".
  • The film was withdrawn from Pakistani theatres a day after its release. It was reported that this was done because of concerns that the film's terrorism theme would embarrass Pakistani authorities.[2]

    Song

  • Mere Dil Gaaye Ja Zoo Zoo Zubi Zubi Zubi - This song borrowed its hook line from a song composed by Bappi Lahiri for the film "Dance Dance" (1987). The 1987 song itself was adapted from Modern Talking's hit song "Brother Louie" (1986).[3][4]
