• Majrooh Sultanpuri collaborated with Shankar - Jaikishan for the first time in his career for two film albums released in 1974 - this film and "Love In Bombay" (1974).[1]
• This was actress Zaheeda's last Hindi film. The film was her home production - producer Jaffer Hussain was her brother, the film's script was written by her father Akhtar Hussain and her cousin Anwar Hussain acted in the film. Zaheeda and her family had wanted Zeenat Aman in the film but had to settle for Sonia Sahni since Zeenat was unavailable. In the absence of big-name stars, the film did not find any buyers. It was during the making of this film that Zaheeda met her future husband Kesri Nandan Sahay who was financing the film. She got married to him soon after and retired from films.[2]
