Trivia

    Album

  • This film was inspired by the true story of Neeraj Grover's murder. Three years after the murder, the courts convicted Jerome Joseph of the murder, and his girlfriend Maria Susairaj for destroying evidence. Jerome was said to have murdered Grover in a fit of jealousy-filled rage when he discovered that Grover was in a physical relationship with Maria. Part of the film was shot at the Dheeraj Solitaire Apartment where the murder took place. Years later, Susairaj was booked in a case of cheating.[1][2]
  • This was actress Rasika Joshi's last film. She died a few weeks before the film's release.

    Song

  • Rangeela Re - This song was the recreated version of a hit song from another of Ram Gopal Varma's films, "Rangeela" (1995). The original song was composed by A.R. Rahman, written by Mehboob, and sung by Asha Bhosle and Aditya Narayan. Another re-created version of the song was recorded for the film "Bhangra Paa Le" (2019).[3][4]
