This was the spiritual successor to the film "Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai" (2010). Both films were directed by Milan Luthria, written by Rajat Arora, and featured Pritam's music, but had different casts.[1]
Actress Sonali Bendre made a comeback with this film. She had retired from films after her marriage to producer Goldie Behl in 2002. Her last film role was a special appearance in the film "Kal Ho Naa Ho" (2003).[2]
Song
Tayyab Ali Pyar Ka Dushman Haye Haye - This was a recreated version of a song originally composed by Laxmikant - Pyarelal and written by Anand Bakshi for the film "Amar Akbar Anthony" (1977). This version reused the original song's mukhda but the rest of it was original.[3]
Bismillah - This song was not part of the film's music CD. It was released separately as a single and included in the digital album later.
