Trivia

    Album

  • This film was re-released in 1983 as "Daulat Ke Dushman". The only difference in the 1983 audio release was a Manna Dey song which did not feature in the 1973 film's audio release.[1]
  • This was businessman Manu Narang's first film as an actor and producer. He later gained notoriety when it was found that he had smuggled out of India a sixth-century Nataraja statue which was later displayed at the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, California. Narang escaped to the United Kingdom but was extradited to India in 1977. He was also placed under arrest briefly. Narang would go on to direct the film "Manu The Great" (1987) named after himself.[2][3][4]

    Song

  • Jeena Toh Hai Par Ae Dil Kahan - R.D. Burman adapted the tune of this song's mukhda to compose the hit song "Chand Mera Dil" ("Hum Kisise Kum Naheen", 1977).[5]
  • Samjha Main Kismat Khul Gayi - R.D. Burman adapted the tune of this song for the Hindi film song "Masti Ke Hain Din Char" ("Siyasat", 1991).[6]
