- This film featured Kunal Kapoor as the younger version of the character played by his father Shashi Kapoor.
- When Shashi Kapoor died, Saif Ali Khan revealed an interesting incident while talking about his special relationship with the senior actor. The incident occurred when Saif, who was three years old then, had accompanied his mother Sharmila Tagore on the sets of this film. The scene that was being shot at the time had an actor whipping Shashi Kapoor. Saif couldn't bear to see him being whipped like that and barged into the shoot and bit the actor who was whipping him! Shashi Kapoor then explained to Saif what was going on and pacified him.[1]
