Trivia

    Album

  • The film's opening credits did not display the names of its lead actors Nargis and Raj Kapoor. Instead, the two actors, Nargis first and Raj Kapoor next, were shown signing their names on blank sheets of paper, their signatures barely legible.

    Song

  • Le Le Gori Pahan Le Chhori (Choodiyaan Neeli Peeli) - Each stanza in this song made a reference to an actress - Nargis, Meena Kumari, and Geeta Bali. Nargis was the heroine of this film but did not appear in the song.
  • Kaun Kahe Unse Ja Ke Ae Hazoor - The tune of this song was very similar to another Hindi film song released the same year, "Taare Gin Gin Beete Hai Saari Raat" ("Dhoon", 1953). It is not known if one inspired the other or if both drew inspiration from another song.[1]
