Trivia
- This was filmmaker Dev Katta's remake of his own 2010 Telugu film of the same title. It was his first Hindi film. Shemaroo Entertainment sent the makers of this film a legal notice when it was being promoted. They claimed that they had acquired the rights to remake the Telugu film in 2012 and challenged the making of this film. It appears that the matter was eventually resolved out of court.[1]
- Sanjay Dutt's wife Maanyata was credited as the film's producer. It was produced under the newly formed banner Sanjay S. Dutt Productions. Sanjay Dutt had co-produced "Rascals" (2011) earlier under the banner of Sanjay Dutt Productions.[2]
