Trivia

    Album

  • Ghazal artist Jagjit Singh made his Hindi film debut as a composer in this film. He had composed music for two unreleased films prior to this - "Apni Dharti Apna Desh" (1978) and "Main Aur Meri Tanhai" (1980).[1][2]
  • This was actress Anita Raj's debut Hindi film. "Achha Bura" (1983) was the first film signed by her but it was delayed and was released two years after her debut.[3][4]
  • This was the first film in which Lakhan Sinha, Shatrughan Sinha's brother, was credited as a producer. The earlier films produced by Ramayana Chitra, Shatrughan Sinha's banner, listed only Pawan Kumar as the producer. Before producing Ramayana Chitra films, Pawan Kumar, who for a long time was both Amitabh Bachchan and Shatrughan Sinha's secretary, had produced the film "Abhimaan" (1973) starring Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri.[5]
