Trivia

    Album

  • This film's story owes its origin to the German book "Das Doppelte Lottchen" (1949) written by Erich Kastner. The book has been adapted for several films in various languages. The British film "Twice Upon a Time" (1953), the Disney film "The Parent Trap" (1961) and its 1998 remake with the same title were all adapted from this book. The Tamil film "Kuzhandaiyum Deivamum" (1965) and the Hindi films "Do Kaliyan" (1968) and "Pyar Ke Do Pal" (1986) were also adaptations of the same story.[1][2]
