Trivia

    Album

  • This was filmmaker C.V. Sridhar's remake of his own hit Tamil film "Kadhalikka Neramillai" (1964). The Tamil film was remade in other languages as well - in Telugu as "Preminchi Choodu" (1965), in Kannada as "Preethi Madu Thamashe Nodu" (1979), and in Marathi as "Dhoom Dhadaka" (1985).
  • Mehmood's character in this film ran a film production company called Wah Wah Productions. Almost thirty years later, Mehmood played the proprietor of a banner named Wah Wah Productions again in the film "Andaz Apna Apna" (1994).[1]
  • The film opened with a philosophical caption - "We know art is an ocean. We row for the novel creation."
