    Album

  • This was the debut Hindi film of Aadar Jain - Raj Kapoor's grandson and the son of his daughter Reema Jain. It was also Anya Singh's first film in a lead role. She had debuted earlier with a minor role in "Bajatey Raho" (2013).[1]
  • Habib Faisal's inspiration for the film came from a band called The Flying Souls which was formed by a few inmates of the Tihar Jail. He later found out about Tihar Idol, a talent show for the jail's inmates, and became convinced that it was a story worth telling.[2]
  • The film was compared with two other films with similar themes - the Bengali film "Muktodhara" (2012), and the Hindi film "Lucknow Central" (2017).[3]

    Song

  • Hai Junooni - This was the first Hindi film song for which Sidhant Mago wrote lyrics.
  • Jag Mag Jag Mag Mera Watan - The song's official YouTube video wrongly credited Kausar Munir as the lyricist instead of Habib Faisal.
