Trivia

    Album

  • This film was director Bharathi Raja's remake of his own Tamil film "Sigappu Rojakkal" (1978), starring Kamal Haasan and Sridevi. The Tamil film was inspired by the real-life serial killer Raman Raghav who was active in the Mumbai region in the late 1960s. Anurag Kashyap's Hindi film "Raman Raghav 2.0" (2016) was inspired by the same serial killer.[1]

    Song

  • Kiski Sadayen Mujhko Bulaye - This song was based on "Windmills Of Your Mind" sung by Noel Harrison. "Windmills Of Your Mind" was originally composed as a French song "Les moulins de mon coeur" by Michel Legrand. Legrand himself was inspired by Mozart's Andante from Sinfonia Concertante. "Windmills Of Your Mind" was later used in the film "The Thomas Crown Affair" (1968) as its theme and won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Sting covered the song in the 1999 remake of "The Thomas Crown Affair" starring Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo.[2]
